Salon Styling Essentials

A class designed to help stylists new to Aveda to understand the benefits and usages of Aveda Styling products.   Through hands-on sessions, the stylist will experience all of the styling products combined with the styling techniques they support. 

We will focus on 3 types of workshops:

1.  Brush Work:

• Round brush setting and styling and creating volume

• Flat brush styling, smooth and straighten

• Denman brush styling, texture and volume

2.  Iron Work:

• Curling iron variations, loose wave to strong curl

• Flat iron variations, smooth to texture

3.  Natural Drying and Enhanced Curl and Wave

• Diffuse Drying to support delicate curl

• Hand Drying to define, soften, and manage curl
